In under a week's time, it'll be time for those in the United States of America to return to the polls and select the man they want in the oval office for the next four years. If Americans wake up and the man they chose is me, I plan to institute the change that is needed in this country. Bush and the Republicans had their chance to run this country. What have they done? In the last four years, we've had the greatest tragedy known to the people in our country. Yes, it could have happened if Al Gore was in office as well. I'm not saying that.

Bush has taken us to war. A war in a country that is not our own. The war is over, and our men and women in the armed forces are still over there. They are still there, living and dying in a country not our own. There is talk of reinstitution of the draft. Sending our young men and women of age to battle. Under my leadership, a draft will never be implemented. We can do what we have been doing already without it, with those that volunteer to serve.

There are other issues important to this country. Not only for its young, but its old. There are issues that affect each and every American, one of those issues being healthcare. Do you realize how many individuals in this country today, both young and old, do not have the benefit of healthcare coverage? Why is that? Because the cost is out of their reach. They can't afford it, so they go without it. They don't have the necessary funds to take care of themselves? Why is that? Is it because they are doing wrong? No, it isn't. The cost of healthcare in this country has skyrocketed, and it leaves those with lower incomes without. Is this right? No, it isn't. Every American, young and old, has the right to healthcare coverage. When I take office, I plan to implement plans in order to guarantee Americans that basic right.

Yet another issue that has been discussed much in this election is that of gay marriage. Bush would like to put through an amendment that will make this not allowable. Why do this? This decision is best left to the individual states. If they wish to allow those in their state the right to marriage, whether they are straight or homosexual, let them do that. Let the states decide what is right for them.

On November 2nd, the important issue here is that your voice is heard, that each and every American that is of age and registered to vote does so. Yes, I would like for that vote to be cast for me, but if your vote is for Bush, I do respect that. I just want to be able to wake up on Wednesday morning as your new President-elect.

Firstly, I'd like to start by congratulating my running mate, Mr. John Edwards on doing a fantastic job last night at the Vice Presidential Debates. He did a superb job at taking Vice President Dick Cheney head-on, and stating our issues. I'm very proud of him and of the job he did last night.

So I see that the Bush camp is up to their old ways of distorting the truth. I'm not entirely too shocked about anything that comes out of that man's mouth anymore. He just cannot seem to accept that he screwed up. That he misled this country into a war it did not need to be in. We should have went after Osama Bin Laden, we should have gotten him when we had the chance. We left it in the hands of warlords, and instead we went after Saddam Hussein. Which, as we can see? Iraq has not been capable of weapons of mass destruction since 1991. I don't even have to say it anymore, it has been proven today.

There are so many reasons why he has simply failed this country. I am hoping that the American people understand where I am coming from and that they do not believe his lies. He wants to talk about "Flip-Flopping" on issues? Let's talk about the Iraqi war, when every day, more of the truth begins to come out. Did I support the war? Based on the now false information we were given, I believed something needed to be done. And no, I do not mean what George did.

I could talk a blue streak about all of this, I could go on and on all day about his irregularities, but the truth speaks for itself. And the truth is a far cry from what Mr. Bush is suggesting happened.

So, in other news completely unrelated to political matters, I am highly enjoying the last of the days until the election. I'm trying to keep a positive outlook on everything as well as juggle time with Teresa, because its very important to make that time to be with your significant other, as well as other obligations. My lovely wife and I were on the Dr. Phil show today actually. It was a great joy talking to him. No matter what your opinion on the man actually is, he seems to truly care about all families and bringing them together. He seems to really want to make a difference, which we really do need right now.

We need change. We need to head in a positive direction.

Well, hello you fine celebrities of America. I guess I should also say of the world because Americans aren't the only people with journals here in this community from what I have noticed. It seems I have decided to join in the journal keeping bandwagon. I am quite busy at the moment, but I'm sure I'll be able to keep this somewhat up to date.

The United States has an important decision to make in just a month's time. They will go to the polls, and in turn, decide who the next man in the oval office will be for the next four years. Of course, I am hoping that man will be myself. Tonight was the first debate in Miami, and I was given the opportunity to answer questions on a lot of the major issues in this election. Issues that the people need to be informed about in order to make their vote. I will discuss these issues again in this journal.

And, no George, there will be no free ketchup for you if I'm elected to office!

The only other John Kerry I saw, big__john is at 6 weeks. I didn't see another, but if there is I'm out of here.]
